The Jamaica Association of Young Professionals’ ( JAYP) Leadership Institute presents Transformational Leadership: A leadership Conference for Professionals under the theme “Thinking Globally, Acting Locally – Addressing corporate challenges through Effective Leadership”.

The event will be held November 18 & 19, 2009 at The Jamaica Pegasus Hotel running 9am- 4pm daily.

Background

The Jamaica Association of Young Professionals is committed to developing leaders through the JAYP Leadership Institute. We recognize the importance of preparing our present and future leaders for success and intend, through this institute, to train many young professionals as transformational Leaders. The mission of JAYP’s Leadership Institute is to promote healthy, just and sustainable human systems by educating young professionals to live and lead with integrity.

The Institute’s approach to leadership emphasizes integrity, self-awareness and understanding of how and why individuals act, react and interact as they do in groups. The Institute’s workshops provide in-depth training for young professionals who want to bring about significant change in their organizations and to recharge their roles in teams, departments or companies.

Speakers

This Conference will feature dynamic, industry leaders providing training to young leaders in developing organizations that will endure, sustain high performance and make significant community contributions over the medium and long-term.

Registration

Registration for each day of the two-day conference is $10, 000, which is inclusive of coffee breaks, lunch, training materials and a Certificate of Completion. Additionally, group discounts of five participants or more are available. Early bird registration of $8,000 each day ends October 30, 2009. Group Registration Available
